Initial Conversation

During our initial conversation, a design consultant will discuss your needs and determine how we can help you to achieve your goals. We will send you an information packet which includes a Landscape Questionnaire.

Initial Meeting

To help you determine if Eden Gardenworks (EGW) is the right company for your project, a meeting will be scheduled either at EGW Design Studio or at your home. Your designer will review your answers to our Landscape Questionnaire, discuss your landscaping project, and answer your questions about our design-build process, warranty, and qualifications. At this meeting, we will discuss your project budget, scope of work and whether or not your project requires a formal design process.

Design and Proposal

If NO design work is required:

We will mutually define the landscape elements to be included in your project and the estimated budget range for your project. Once we are in agreement for an estimated budget range, a written proposal will be presented for your review and final approval.

If design work is required:

We will mutually define the landscape elements and phases to be included in your project and the estimated budget range for each element or phase. A Design Proposal will be presented that outlines the project elements and/or phases with associated budget ranges. The Design Proposal will also include a Design Fee. Upon receipt of the Design Fee, your designer will:

• Conduct detailed site analysis.

• Design garden elements as identified in the Initial Meeting

• Prepare estimates for installation

• Present your project’s plan and estimates at EGW Design Studio or Via e-mail

• Refine design and estimates, if necessary.

Once the design phase is completed, a written proposal will be presented for your review and final approval.

Project Scheduling and Logistics

Once a signed Agreement and deposit has been received, your project is entered into our Production Schedule and we will begin acquiring materials and permits, and coordinating people and assets, as necessary.

Project Installation

The Eden Gardenworks team will complete your project in a neat and timely manner with quality and integrity throughout the process. In addition to your landscape design consultant, our team of highly qualified and experienced staff work together to ensure a beautiful project that will please you for years to come.

Project Completion:

Upon completion of your project, we will outline the care and maintenance requirements for your new landscape. A senior member of our staff may walk you through your garden to ensure your project is complete and meets our high standards and yours.
